Why did you want to increase your presence and activity on social media? We wanted to generate interest in, and exposure, for our recently opened wedding venue through social media to increase the number of enquiries and bookings we were getting. Why did you decide to use Sarah to help with your social media? We were recommended Sarah by another well respected local supplier. Her enthusiasm and positivity was infectious! She is a lovely person to work with. What has been the reaction from staff and customers to the increased social media activity. The reaction has been all round positive - customers love seeing the Facebook and Twitter posts that she does, and we have had a great reaction from suppliers who have interacted with Sarah on social media as well (predominantly Twitter). What benefits (obvious and less obvious) have you and the business got from using Sarah for your social media. We have had lots of positive interactions with couples - booked and prospective - from Sarah's social media posts, which are great for enquiries and bookings. It's also meant that we have more time available to do other things for the business - we know that we need to do a lot of social media marketing but Sarah is doing such a great job that we don't have to! How do you see social media helping your business in the next 18 month? We are keen to grow our social media presence even further to increase our number of wedding bookings as well as spreading the word about our special events such as wedding fairs and Christmas parties.
Sarah has been managing all of our social media channels for well over a year now, and her excellent social marketing efforts have allowed us to focus on growing our business. Sarah has taken the time to understand our goals and objectives and worked around our busy schedules. She has transformed all of our accounts and really propelled our digital presence into a new league. Her biggest achievement to date is getting our brand to the top two of our industries social media chart - an amazing feeling to see your brand perform so well against competitors and industry peers. Sarah is very much seen as part of our team and we know she is as passionate and committed to the MGN brand as we are.
Why did you want to increase your presence and activity on social media? We initially wanted to generate leads from Linked In and Twitter. We now also use Facebook as a method of lead generation and brand awareness. Why did you decide to use Sarah to help with your social media? We were recommended from our SEO company and after meeting with Sarah we thought we could work with her. What has been the reaction from staff and customers to the increased social media activity. Early days yet for customer reaction but I would say morale has improved as staff can learn more about the company they work. What benefits (obvious and less obvious) have you and the business got from using Sarah for your social media. The main benefit for us is more leads whether direct or indirect from social media. A less obvious benefit is that keeping the content fresh makes you think more about your business and how it is portrayed to the outside world. How do you see social media helping your business in the next 18 month? For our industry I think we will see more direct leads from social media as we target certain profiles. In addition, Google will take notice of chatter in social media and will then hopefully push us up the organic listings.
