Why did you want to increase your presence and activity on social media?
We wanted to generate interest in, and exposure, for our recently opened wedding venue through social media to increase the number of enquiries and bookings we were getting.
Why did you decide to use Sarah to help with your social media?
We were recommended Sarah by another well respected local supplier. Her enthusiasm and positivity was infectious! She is a lovely person to work with.
What has been the reaction from staff and customers to the increased social media activity.
The reaction has been all round positive – customers love seeing the Facebook and Twitter posts that she does, and we have had a great reaction from suppliers who have interacted with Sarah on social media as well (predominantly Twitter).
What benefits (obvious and less obvious) have you and the business got from using Sarah for your social media.
We have had lots of positive interactions with couples – booked and prospective – from Sarah’s social media posts, which are great for enquiries and bookings. It’s also meant that we have more time available to do other things for the business – we know that we need to do a lot of social media marketing but Sarah is doing such a great job that we don’t have to!
How do you see social media helping your business in the next 18 month?
We are keen to grow our social media presence even further to increase our number of wedding bookings as well as spreading the word about our special events such as wedding fairs and Christmas parties.
